Primary School

Welcome to Gardners Lane Primary School

Gardners Lane Primary school is a happy, lively school with strong links in the community.

We are proud to be part of the Gardners Lane and Oakwood Federation, working in close partnership with Oakwood Primary School to provide the very best opportunities, care and support for our children and families.

Under the leadership of Headteacher Mr Tuck, Gardners Lane proudly maintains its own unique identity, values and strong sense of community, while benefiting from the shared expertise, resources and collaborative approach of our Federation.

Our close partnership enables both schools to share knowledge, experience and best practice, continually strengthening the quality of education and support we provide. We also benefit from shared services, including our dedicated pastoral team, Pupil Parent Support Worker, Attendance Officer and Site Manager, ensuring that our children, families and wider school communities are well supported.

At the heart of our Federation, Gardners Lane remains proudly Gardners Lane – a school with its own distinct character, values and identity, where our children, families and staff are at the centre of everything we do. Our partnership strengthens who we are, while allowing us to preserve and celebrate the unique community that makes Gardners Lane so special.

Together, we celebrate what makes each school special, while combining our strengths to create a caring, inclusive and ambitious Federation where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The school has established partnerships with the University of Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire College and Cheltenham Ladies College, which provides our pupils with a wealth of opportunities to enhance their curriculum entitlement.

Our aim is to work with you, as stake holders, to share your ambitions for your children and your knowledge of them. This will enable us to make sure that together we can celebrate their achievements.

Gardners Lane School is a non-denominational, Local Authority Primary school, educating children aged 4 to 11 years.
